Sometimes things don’t work out the way you want them too. After seeing quite a few homes over the course of the afternoon, one thing ran into the other and I couldn’t write this post last night (my wife’s birthday). So that it doesn’t get too long, I’m breaking it into two parts.
This part will be about the homes that were not on the agent “Historic Homes” tour. These homes were not on that tour, but I was able to see these while on the way to those other homes.

712 Jamestown Way
The first house is in the highly regarded Clocktower community and is located at 712 Jamestown Way. This 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home is offered at $869,900 and is on a fairly level, almost 1 acre. This home shows great with newer carpet and paint. It’s also vacant, so it’s move in ready as well. There’s a full unfinished basement and a bonus/sun room. The main bedroom is very generous, as are all of the bedrooms. The master bathroom has both a shower and a large tub. The kitchen is very nice with granite counter tops and a nice center island, but there’s still plenty of room for a breakfast table as well. There’s a nice deck to that big back yard as well off the kitchen. A very nice house.
I apologize, but I didn’t get a picture of the next house, unless you wanted one of the door, but this house is a flat located at 1324 West Chester Pike, #116. Part of the newer Rose Hill townhomes, hidden behind the Rose Tree apartments, this is a great house for a first time buyer or downsizer that wants maintenance free living. The door opens to a large living space, with hardwood floors, that leads right into generously sized kitchen. For a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom flat the rooms are a great size. It’s location in the community gives it some privacy from behind as it backs up to a wooded area. Not much else to say about this property, it shows great.

855 Four Streams Dr
The next house is located a few miles from Longwood Gardens off of Rt 52 at 855 Four Streams Drive in West Chester. That’s right, it’s still inside the West Chester lines. Offered at $649,900, this 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house is on 1 acre. Four Streams is a longer cul-de-sac street with nice space both in front and back of the house. The property backs up to open space with a view of the pond at Red Bridge. There’s lots of light in this house. From the large living room and family room to the great room/kitchen area, the windows give this place great views. The way the basement was finished is very nice as well. The kitchen has nice long granite counters and makes a great entertaining space with the adjoining living area. The house is in a great location as well, with access to major highways just minutes away.

31 Whispering Woods Ln
The last house, for this post, is not in West Chester, but just off of Rt. 401 in Malvern at 31 Whispering Woods Ln. With just a few houses on this street, this 4 bedroom, 3 bath house is situated on 4.6 acres and is currently listed for $675,000. This house showed great. The custom woodwork and nice arches showed really nicely. The kitchen is a great size with lots of counter space. After you’ve seen the space on the main floor, you’re surprised when actually go upstairs and find all the space there. If you’re interested in having an in-law quarters, then the 2nd master suite will certainly make that possible. The owners even updated the septic recently. You’ll certainly be communing with nature with this property as there are plenty of woods surrounding the nicely landscaped house.
If you would like to see these, or any other house on the market, feel free to CONTACT ME. I’d be happy to help. I’ll be happy to set up your own “tour”.
