Tuesday’s Tour for August 5, 2008

Here’s the homes I saw on my latest broker tour.

This home in the Greystone neighborhood in West Chester is located at 926 Greystone Dr, in West Chester. This 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home is located on .41 acres and has been totally updated inside and is offered at $525,000. The kitchen has great granite counter tops and there are beautiful hardwood floors. Even the bathrooms have been updated with new vanities. The basement is finished with an office space and second family room. Outside has a nice updated deck and level backyard with plenty of room to spread out for your next barbecue.

The second home on the tour is out in Coatesville, not too far from the Brandywine Hospital, located at 745 Reeceville Road. It has plenty of space to spread out inside, as it has more room inside than the view from the road would suggest. The last home on the tour is 9 Saint Anthony Ln in Chester Springs and is the biggest home at 5 bedrooms and 5 full baths and is offered at $1,195,000. Sitting at the very end of the cul-de-sac on 2 acres this home offers plenty of space. While the front yard has mature trees, there is plenty of sun on the house and the in-ground pool in the back yard. There’s a very nice child’s playhouse on the property, as well. If you want space in a home, the inside doesn’t disappoint. The kitchen, eating and great room is really big and while someone may want to update it, it’s ready to use now. The waterfall staircase leads to the finished basement, with a room (currently used as a bedroom) and a very nice built in bar in the main room. Definitely a place to hold poker night, though a bathroom would be a welcome addition. The upstairs give the parents and children plenty of room to spread out. The main bedroom is big, with a sitting area that leads to your own deck looking over the pool below. The bathroom and closet are equally generous with a separate entrance to the closet from the hall. The dining room has plenty of room for your next dinner party.
