Well between a morning settlement and afternoon meetings, I was able to see a few homes today for Tuesday’s tour.
The first home was just of off Ellis Ln at 314 Box Elder Drive in West Chester, PA offered at $429,900. Homes in this older development (about 32 years) tend to go a bit faster probably due to it’s walkability to a few stores and East High School and Fugett Middle School. This 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home shows really nicely. While older (the room sizes show that somewhat), there some great upgrades (kitchen and bathrooms) as well as nicely covered back porch. Compared to some other homes I’ve seen in this neighborhood, the upgrades in this home make it look more up to modern and the neutral color scheme make it easy to move into now.
The second home is in walking distance to Chester County hospital. Located at 604 Perry Drive in West Chester, this 4 bedroom, 3 and 2 half bath home, offered at $959,000, can be called “Movie Night at [insert last name here]’s”. Why? Because the basement is fully finished with a great wet bar and it’s own home theater with 7 comfy chairs and large screen. As if that’s not enough, the rest of the home is a knockout as well. While some of the colors may be personal (remember paint can be changed) I liked the rooms and the room sizes in this home. The kitchen is a great size and opens to a nice sized family room. A separate office is a great space if you do work from home. Upstairs, all the bedrooms are a good size and some have a personal bathroom. Closet space is also plentiful. The yard is .42 acres and has great landscaping. The back deck and patio has a fire pit and pond with a nice little waterfall.
If you want to see these or any other homes you’ve found while searching, feel free to contact me for a showing (610-220-7645 or email JohnATJohnLauberDOTcom). I’d be happy to help.
