Back on the road again for Tuesday’s Tour today. The three I had the time to visit today were all in the West Chester area.
The first house has an end of the cul-de-sac location at 1631 Still Ln in West Chester, 19380. This home is surrounded by mature trees, has an inground pool and large deck in a nice community. It’s very convenient to shopping and major roads. The trees definitely keep the house cooler and the whole house fan helps too. It does have central air as well for those really muggy days (like today). This 4 Bed, 2.5 bath house, marketed at $479,000, has a nice open floor plan with an larger kitchen for home of this age (44). The laundry room is large too and goes out to the garage. There’s certainly a lot to work with here.
The second home could be considered “off the beaten path”. While the address may be 909 W Miner Street, it is definitely not on the street. This house is one of seven down a long drive connecting them. It looks like the picture on the right.
Sitting on 1.2 acres this nice little 3 bedroom, 1 bath ranch, marketed at $295000, is nicely done with a finished basement and a built in bar, as well. The kitchen is a nice size and opens up to back yard patio/deck area. While you have neighbors they are not close. If you want some privacy this home definitely gives you that.
The last house at 529 Legion Drive is a bit larger than the others. This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is marketed at $639,900 and located on a 1 acre property. The outside is nicely landscaped with nice plantings and a beautiful inground pool. There’s plenty of deck space, above and at pool level, as well as a nice screened porch off the back. There is plenty of space inside this 15 year old home. The main bedroom has a separate sitting area and a large bathroom with separate tub and shower. The bedrooms are all nice sizes, with walk in closets as a bonus. The full basement is ready to finish and even has a full bathroom already installed and is easy to access from the pool (important, right?).
